LING 144 Computational Methods in Linguistics

Introduction to computational methods in linguistics, with little background in computer programming. Possible topics include: regular expressions, annotation, databases, and search. Students learn contemporary techniques in team-based programming, annotation, and use of language models. (Formerly Computational Methods for Linguists.)
